Welcome to Aspire Alternative Provision

Aspire Alternative Provision is a unique and vibrant school, split over three sites, all of which are focused on supporting children and young people across Buckinghamshire who have experienced challenges in mainstream education. Across our different sites and pathways, we share one purpose: to help every young person feel safe, experience success and move forward with confidence.

Our approach is built around three simple principles: Safe. Love. Learn.  We believe that positive relationships are the foundation of successful education.  When young people feel safe, valued and understood, they are more willing to engage, take risks in their learning and discover what they are capable of.

At Aspire Alternative Provision, we are teachers of children before we are teachers of subjects.  Every young person arrives with their own story, strengths and challenges.  We take time to get to know them, understand what they need and find ways to help them succeed.

 

We are ambitious for our students.  Alongside academic qualifications, our curriculum places a strong emphasis on personal development, reading, communication and preparing young people for life beyond school.  We recognise that success looks different for everyone.  Sometimes it is achieving a qualification; sometimes it is attending regularly, building a friendship, discovering a new interest or beginning to believe in yourself again.  All of these achievements matter.

I am incredibly proud of our staff, who bring warmth, creativity and high expectations to Aspire Alternative Provision every day.  We work closely with families, schools and other professionals to give every young person the support and opportunities they deserve.

Above all, we want our students to leave Aspire Alternative Provision knowing themselves better, believing in their potential and feeling ready to take ownership of their next chapter.
